I wish I would have watched this video before ordering. I would have given anything to see that bagger go down the road as it was strapped. Also, the dirt bike model does not work with the larger dual sport rotors. I have to utilize a 2x4 under the tire to keep the rotor from being gouged. Just outdated technology with not much afterthought

I have been using this system for three years. Recently, the claw slipped off the break pedal during setup and the actuator arm extended to its full length getting stuck. It started making loud clicking noises. I tried to figure out how to get the actuator arm to return to normal position, but It wouldn’t. I had to pull my Jeep without the Patriot II installed. Please tell me if there is an easier way to fix this issue without having to send it to Patriot for service.

Does the weight distribution kit itself put towing weight on the hitch, the trailer or the vehicle- I do not want to go over my axile limit

Bought the Andersen to replace my equalizer because of all the great reviews. I watched a few videos on initial setup followed the instructions exactly. The weight distribution was great and reduced the bouncing effect, but it is a long way from “no-sway”. Also, after 150 miles the bushings in the ball mechanism were shot. The remaining 50 miles on my drive home was miserable. I did some more research and this is a common theme that is only discussed by the many that have experienced it. Junk

Been using the Andersen for 7 years. Great WDH and antisway system. The whole thing weighs only about 60 lbs, but you only have to deal with the triangle plate when hitching/unhitching...maybe 5 lbs.

Evidently the ball and socket was problematic because they discontinued it and never went back to that design. Twin pivot offset 90 degrees seems a lot simpler.

I recently purchased a Blue Ox II braking system for use in a Fiat 500 towed vehicle. The unit required a special locking brake claw for use in a Fiat 500. This brake claw is almost impossible to install on the Fiat brake pedal (even the dealer struggled to install it) and when it is finally installed and the "locking" mechanism is applied it becomes unlocked - even in the "set-up" process. I have confirmed that it is the correct brake claw. Is the brake claw simply (1) an incorrectly designed brake claw, (2) incorrectly attached to the unit (3) or ?

QUESTION: Will the Tiedowns we purchase from Torklift connect to both the factory frame and/ or hitch AND the Torklift hitch? We plan on towing a trailer but not sure if our non-profit can afford all this equipment straight away. Please advise.

I liked the video. I have been researching info, articles and videos to compare WDHs. I have an Esa-Lift with chained spring bars, and want to upgrade. I like the Andersen system the most.

At the 3.40 mark we see the nut on the end of the chain against the red dampener BUT NO WASHER !!! That would allow the nut to chew out and destroy the dampener. Not a good idea.
